At the heart of one of the most beautiful racecourses in the world. Under the benefaction of the Duc d’Orléans, the first horse races took place May 15th, 1834. The 'Prix du Jockey Club' was created in 1836, and the 'Prix de
Diane' in 1843. Inaugurated May 28, 2004, the Domain of the Hippodrome of Chantilly, situated facing the Castle and Grand Stables, allies tradition and modernity all while respecting the architecture of the grand tribute which
dates from the end of the 19th century.
