Create ties in 5 minutes, tops!

How does it work? After a quick presentation given by the coordinator to the audience, a volunteer is chosen from among the people in the room. The coordinator throws a ball of wool to them, using their instructions.
That person then has to throw the ball of wool to another volunteer, a little further away. As soon as somebody touches the ball of wool, the music starts playing at full volume.
The people who have been selected as helpers (no experience required – they are usually just other participants) throw their balls of wool quickly into the audience. Participants get the idea very quickly and it all kicks off!
The music is played and is stopped as soon as the coordinator blows a whistle. People are invited to raise the curtain above the heads of the participants. That way, everybody can see the result.
Numerous and highly varied ties can be created during this event. Who, what and why are all determined before the event. The result is a highly theatrical effect.
