Kokedama is a Japanese plant art that emerged in the 1990s. It's a cousin of bonsai and Ikebana. This ball of soil on which an ornamental plant grows is always a source of wonder – it sits amid potted plants and looks wonderful when suspended from the ceiling. 

This workshop is run by professional craftsmen who are keen to share their expertise at a friendly event. They'll share some of their time with you while they're doing their main job. That way, you'll get to learn some history, discover a profession and even become a craftsman while you're at the workshop!
